About Us
The Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung Cultural Heritage Aboriginal Corporation is a Registered Aboriginal Party (RAP) appointed under the Aboriginal Heritage Act 2006 (Vic.). We represent the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung Traditional Owners of Melbourne and the Greater Melbourne region, and we take great pride in our responsibility for protecting and managing Aboriginal cultural heritage objects and places on Wurundjeri Country. The Corporation offers a range of cultural services including environmental land management, cross-cultural education, traditional Welcome to Country and Smoking Ceremonies, research, and cultural consultations.
About the Role
In this role you will support the Wurundjeri Woi-wurrung Corporation’s operations through the effective management and delivery of a range of projects. This role will involve stakeholder management, coordination of resources and efficient planning, tracking and reporting delivering of projects.
About You
- Graduate or certificate level qualifications in the fields of either social science, humanities, Indigenous studies and/or an interest in these fields.
- Experience working a project manager and/or in delivering administrative and customer support.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Experience working in a not-for-profit organisation or working with First Nations Peoples’.
- Working with Children’s Check and a national police check. (Or be willing to obtain)
