One of the key aspirations of Wurundjeri Council is to provide a holistic approach to working on our traditional Country. We have an established Natural Resource Management (NRM) team, referred to as the Narrap Team, to support this aspiration.

Our Narrap Team undertake a range of NRM activities on Country at the request of clients, including the maintenance of firebreaks in accordance with local council by-laws.
One of the prime responsibilities of the Narrap Team is to manage the properties owned by Wurundjeri Council. Each property has its own significant cultural, community and environmental value.
We work in partnership with the PPWCMA, Parks Victoria and other stakeholders in a series of projects to rediscover and document Wurundjeri Traditional Ecological Knowledge.
