The Wurundjeri Corporation is a community-based organisation, and Registered Aboriginal Party (RAP) appointed under the Aboriginal Heritage Act 2006 (Vic.). It represents the Woi wurrung Traditional Owners of Melbourne and the Greater Melbourne region and we hold responsibilities for the protection and management of Aboriginal cultural heritage objects and places in Victoria. Other functions of Wurundjeri Corporation include: environmental land management, cross-cultural education, traditional welcome to country and smoking ceremonies, and cultural consultations.
